Tales from an Endless Summer

It has now been three years since I decided to go home to my birth country and reunite with my biological family. So much has happened. Have come to know everyday heroes, both men and women who become mentors and taught me so much about Liberian culture. Family members have died and left a hole in the heart that can only be filled with more dedication ..LiberianME has long since become something much more than just a company. It is my life’s mission .. My focus has shift- ed from I have to do this , that I have no choice but to do this.I´ve encountered amazing people thru this Journey , Sarayiah Bah for example Or Ann-marie  Roselli (Anntogether) who is not only one of the greatest poets/artists/painters I´ve ever encountered but also one of my biggest motivator thru this journey and there are many more ( One day I will do a long thank you post for all of people who contributed to make LiberianME to what it is today )

If you are Swedish-speaking, you can through the link below to listen to the radio program where I talk about the background to LiberianME

It´s surreal that it started with my first meeting with Georgi that lived just next to the house my brother Nayersue was building @ the time

Video clip from my first Encounter with Georgi that inspired me to start LiberianME

Tons of images has become the years. As a photographer, I want to portray Liberia through my eyes. Reflect joy, everyday heroes, tears and triumphs .. Show Liberia beyond the Civil War, Ebola and poverty .If you search for “portfolio” you´ll find some of the best pictures

Kind Regards  Simon Tocclo aka LiberianME
