  1. I’m feeling this! The only one in your list I have not seen is ‘The Notebook’. Gotta check that out! The film that makes me weep is Dancer in the Dark. Bought it, can’t bring myself to watch it again. How’s that for too much?

It’s definitely a great question and one deserving a wider scope simply because of all the genres of film right?

Scarface, huh? Awesome choice! Leon is another great film. Luc Besson can do no wrong by me! He’s got a new one with Scarlett Johannson coming out that looks really interesting.

Yeah, keep it going… By genre? Before and after say, 1990?

    Things could get interesting!

  2. Hi Simon,

Beautiful sky, beautiful children, wonderful memories captured on film, and the shot with the leaves left me dreaming. It looks to have been a great day out.

Oslo is intriguing, a cosmopolitan like blend of glass and steel, angles and arcs, old and new and all with space in-between. it encourages me to find out a little more about it. Also I am fascinated to read above that you lived in Mexico City. You have certainly seen far more of this crazy old world than I. Little wonder then that your postings have such an eclectic feel to them.

I find it interesting that you head for a high place so often to take your photographs? Is there a reason for that other than the obvious opportunity it provides to get a better view?

With a sky like that, so crystal clear and so unfathomably blue, one could quite easily disappear into infinity…perhaps that wouldn’t be such a bad thing after all 🙂

And that’s quite an interesting list of films! I’ll look forward to reading the posting intended for Obzervashunal discussing your motivations and reasons for including the ones you have.

Have a safe journey to Africa my friend, and enjoy your stay. Good luck once again with the Project, all is crossed this end! 🙂
